Welcome to my Blog! I am Tanim, an AI graduate with industry exposure and experience in academia and research. Avid learner with a passion for consultancy, mentoring, and teaching. I hope you enjoy learning with me.
My journey in science and engineering started with a passion for fixing broken things at home, and sometimes breaking things apart 😉 to see the pieces inside. One day, I watched the first Marvel movie, ‘Iron Man (2008)’. Yes, I am that old 😎. Tony Stark’s journey had a great motivational impact on my journey toward tech and engineering. During my bachelor’s in electrical and electronic engineering and a master’s in biomedical engineering, I discovered my passion for research. Having been exposed to machine learning in 2018 and utilizing it for my thesis, I decided to do a second master’s in Artificial Intelligence. Well, that’s one way of building a J.A.R.V.I.S. of my own. After many struggles, learning, and adapting to living all alone in a new country away from home, I graduated with a master’s in AI from Maastricht University, Netherlands, in 2024. I have been in academia for a while after that as a junior lecturer at Maastricht University. You never know, I might still do a PhD in AI (and question my life choices while doing it 😅)!
A common compliment I have had from friends, teachers, and supervisors has been my writing skills. And I have always loved teaching and mentoring. So, I finally decided to create ‘AI With Tanim’ to share my knowledge through tutorials on Artificial Intelligence and provide AI tutoring & consultancy services. I hope this helps you in some way.
